The bank has experienced erosion from the heavy rains (storm water) and we wish to protect the bank by adding suitable plants to the non-turf area and bank. The bare spots on the bank without vegetation are eroding. We do not wish to remove vegetation (other than grass), we wish to add vegetation. Consistent with the Exceptions of Town Code 275-4, "The ordinary and usual operations relative to residential horticulture within Trustee jurisdiction provided they are limited to the use of noninvasive native species of vegetation." We are scheduled for the April calender regarding the construction of the stairs to the pond, however, March is the ideal time to begin to plant. This letter is to avoid any misunderstanding regarding the proposed activity on our property, pending the wetland permit application for the structures. V yours, atricia C. Moore
