ROOF TOP REINFORCEMENT AND SPECIAL WIRING: Install a steel plate at least 2.25mm thick x 10" wide to underside of "top, centered on the longitudinal centerline of the roof panel . Plate is to extend from the windshield header to the first top cross-member support and is to be welded at both ends. Plate to hold roof skin in its normal position, not allowing skin to deflect if pressure is applied to top surface. The purpose of the plate is to support the overhead emergency light. Vehicles shall be delivered to Southold Town Police Department, Main Road, Peconic. C. Vehicles shall be delivered in ready-to-use, driveable, with fuel stabilizer in the fuel tank and in a road- ready condition. Dealer will inspect vehicles before delivery for all accessories and special equipment shortages and bring up to specifications before delivery. D. Factory Representative - Commencing with the delivery of the first group of vehicles, it is required that the Chief of Police be contacted a minimum of once each thirty ( 3 ) day period by a factory service representative for a minimum of twelve , (12 ) consecutive months . E. All vehicles must have a New York State Inspection. 22 . WARRANTY A. State manufacturer' s standard warranty on total vehicle and power train, as this will be considered in evaluation of bid. 36 month/36,000 Bumper-to-Bumper. B. This bid SHALL NOT be awarded to any dealer who will not provide warranty repair services within the County of Suffolk. Bidders not having a place of business within the 'County of Suffolk shall provide, in writing at the ''time of bid opening, the name and location of the agency within the County where such services will be performed. C. Starting Date - The starting date of warranty for each vehicle shall be the date the vehicle is placed into actual service, NOT THE DATE when it is delivered by the vendor. D.
