RESOLVED to approve Report No. 165 of John W. Davis, Planning Board Inspector, pertaining to Access to Lot No. 8 at the subdivision known as Jackson' s Landing at Mattituck. Raynor, Jr., Chairman REPORT NO. 165 Southold Planning Board FROM: John W. Davis DATE: March 20., 1981 RE: JACKSON'S LANDING at MATTITUCK Access to Lot No. 8 COTTSEN TS: Mere is a 25 ft. drop curb at the north end of the section reserved for beach access to Lot No. 8 and possible highway dedication (See attached print). Can see no reason why the access drive could not be placed in this reserve section using the existing drop curb as the entrance. Me proposed access as shown was placed to make it as short as possible and to be north of the LILCO pole. L,lould recommend that 12 ft. of the 15 ft. width be 6" of compacted bank run wi th 20% gravel or 41' of compacted stone blend. Me access shown could be modified if there is tree interference beyond the property line but it is probably advantageous to use the existing drop curb as an entrance® Cqr,-2 61 vl -, - :!
