Pursuant to Town Code Section 236-10, it has been determined that the activities proposed on site require a drainage control permit from the Building Inspector as it applies to the proposed location of this building. At this point, no municipal permit can be issued for activities requiring a drainage control permit, nor shall any application therefore be deemed complete, until the Building Inspector has first issued his approval of the erosion, sedimentation and stormwater run- off control plan. Please contact the Building Department for a stormwater assessment form at your earliest convenience. Contact me anytime with any questions that you may have. Thank you. This test was performed during period of low water demand. Such a test, usually, does out reflect the fire flow available under the conditions fond in a high water demand period We have reviewed the past peak demand informatwu that is available: for this area. Historically, the static pressure i0 this area has been as low as You should adjust the flow test to reflect the lower static pressure prior to cuing it for any design work, such as a sprinkler system. You can do this by determining the amount of water used dropping the test static pressure to the peak adiusted static pressure and use it to adjust the water availaille fQfl} your analysis. Always remember to account for any difference in the ground elevation between the test location and your design site location as well. Any flow test, including one with a peak demand adjustment, may or may not accurately reflect what fire flow or static pressure will be available in the fnture. It could be a higher or lower vahue. The rue flow or the static pressure available at any specific time will depend on system demand and the availability of wader supply infrastractere. The "standard" design provides a consistent hemispherical spray pattern. The separate two-piece mounting cup/cover plate allows easy installation and testing prior to ceiling installation. R also permits removal of suspended ceiling panels without system shut- down The design incorporates state-of-the-art, heat responsive, frangible glass bulb design (standard or quick response) for prompt, precise operation. "SDI AND V3B02 This sprinkler Is available in various temperature ratings (see chart on page 2) and finishes to meet many design requirements. SPRINKLER OPERATION: The operating mechanism is a frangible glass bulb which contains a heat responsive (quid. During a fire, the ambient temperature rises causing file liquid in the bulb to expand. When the ambient temperature reaches the rated temperature of the sprinkler, the bulb shatters. As a result, the water- way is cleared of all sealing parts and water is discharged towards the deflector. The deflector is designed to distribute the water in a pattern that is most effective in controlling the fire. COVERAGE For coverage area and sprinkler placement, refer to NFPA 13 standards. The Model V36 Dry Type Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler ubazes a frangible glass bulb. At the bulb's rated temperature, the sprinkler opens releasing the bulb seat assembly, causing ft inner tube assembly to move, allowing the spring assembly to pivot alongside the Inner tube. At this time, water (lows through the sprinkler and is. distributed by the deflector, in an approved discharge pattern. The heart of the Model V36 sprinkler's proven actuating assembly is a hermetically sealed frangible glass bulb that contains a precisely measured amount of fluid. When heat is absorbed, the liquid within the bulb expands increasing the internal pressure. At the prescribed temperature the internal pressure within the bulb exceeds the strength of the glass causing the glass to shatter. This results in water discharge which is distributed in an approved pattern. COVERAGE: For coverage area and sprinkler placement, refer to NFPA 13 standards. NOTE.. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the WFDE series operates across a wide temperature range, from 0°C to 499C (320F to 120°F{. WFDE models are equipped with tamper resistant cover screws to prevent unauthorized entry. Inside, two sets of SPDT (Form Q syn- chronized switches are enclosed in a durable terminal block to assure reliable performance. The WFDE series incorporates a mechanical retard fea- ture, which minimizes the risk of false alarm due to pressure surges or air trapped in the sprinkler system. In addition, the mechanical retard's unique sealed design is immune to dust and other contaminants. The WIDE series is designed to simplify installation. Two conduit openings permit easy attachment to the local alarm system. The retard mechanism and dual SPDT switches are field-replaceable. ~ VdS .,E.
