Monday, November 25, 1958 by President Emmons Dean. Present: Emmons Dean John McNulty Frank Dawson Philip Weiler Alvah B. Goldsmith · Ma~io~t Mtnutee~adand approved. Mr. & Mrs, Duff appeared before the Board to inquire about the water in front of their property as to whether or not it was public waters. After considerable discussion, the Duffs were advised that the Board felt they were not bordering on a private canal, and that they would receive favorable con- sideration from the Board for future requests to maintain it. Application of ALFRED C, ROW~HLT, amended to ~O feet in length for the dock instead of the original 60 feet was received. Permit granted. Fee $10.00. Hpplication of Geopgett9 & AN~ELO PETRUCCI, for permission to dredge a channel into his property at Broadwaters, 50 feet in lemgth, 25 feet in width and 3 feet in depth below low water was received. Since the total excavation of materials was estimated at 200 cu. yards the fee is to be $25.00. Application of LOUISE PFEIL for permission to dredge a channel in Haywaters Cove 200 feet in length , 15 feet in width to a depth of ~ feet below Iow water was received. This dredging appears to be a Iontinuation of the dredged channel approved for Mr. Herman W. Johnston. Permit granted. Fee $25.00. A request from Attorney Francis J. 0'Marra was read asking the Town Trustees for a release on the filled area between the original H. W. Mark in Mattituck Creek and the new H. W. Mark (on property between Johnson and Tagliavia) caused by the dredging of Mattituck gxmmk Inlet. From the appearance of this lot on the map in relation to adjoining properties, it was the concensus of the Board that it would be necessary for a mutually satisfactory division line to be established by the owners of the properties, and when such a line was established the Board would issue a release flpon submission of properly drawn documents for the filled land ~ppropriate to each parcel. A special meeting will be held Monday evening Dec. 1, 1958, with the Town Board if agreeable with them for the p~pose of drawing up an appropriate Town Ordinance relating to our Town waters.
