Mr. & Mrs. Robert Trubenbach .......... appeared before the Board to re-apply
~r permission to erect a dock opposite their ~ foot strip of
land on Town Creek between the land of Ray Young and the former
Kolle property. After explaining that it was not his intention
to tie a boat alongside the dock but rather to build a catwalk
over the meadow grass and tie the boa~ off the end of the dock
to a spile located about 3~ ~eet off the end of the dock, the
Board discussed the matter further.
It was voted to grant a permit for a dock or catwalk not over

high water mark to lww water mark directly in line with his
upland property with a piling off the end of said dock not more
than 3~ feet from the outer end of the dock, Fee $10.00.
The applica2ion of Mr. Henry ~. Stenson for permission to install
a float 25'x5' in front of his property with a ramp leading to
it from above high water mark in accordance with sketch furnished,
was read aris discussed with Inspector Howard Terry for possible
interference with navigation. Since this installation would not
appear to interfere with navigation and being on business property
for business purposes, the application mas granted. Fee $25.00.
An application was read from ~orman F. Harmer, West View Drive,
Mattituck, N.Y. for permission to erect a dock, ramp and float
off his property on Mattituck Creek. After discussion it was

The Clerk attended the public hearing on the proposed ~own
0rdina.~ce at the Supervisor's Office on August 12, 1958, and

the Town Board at their meeting following the hearing.
The Town Board decided to defer action and to meet with the

spiles in Mattltuck"'c~'~ex as advertised by the Army Engineers office
and after consultation with Mr. John McNulty, Trustee from Mattituck,
the Supervisor was requested to file an objection to the proposal
