The Southold Town Trustees held a meeting at the Town Clerk office,
Southold, N.Y. on Monday, September 14, 1970, at 7:30 P.M. with the
following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, Frank Dawson, John F. McNulty,
George Simpson, Douglas Robertson and Marion Regent, Secretary.
Application of Willard Schillinq to place a stake in Richmond Creek,
Southold, in front of the Emerson property was denied after a member
of the Emerson family requested that no more permits be issued in that
area. One application and the $1.00 deposit were returned to Mr.
Schilling with a letter of explanation.
Applications for stakes for the following were approved:
John Wysocki, Hallock's Bay, Orient, N.Y. - 1 stake $1.00'~/
Fred Hulse, Stirling Creek, Greenport, N.Y.- 2 stakes 2.00'~/
Edward Kruszeski, Mill Creek, Southold, N.Y. -1 stake 1.00~
Edgar J. Allsopp, James Creek, Mattituck, N.Y. - 2 stakes- 2.00'~/
Charles Ebler, Corey Creek, Southold, N.Y. - i stake - 1.00%/
Application of Ronald J. Lajda to place a stake in Richmond Creek,
Southold, in front of property of Mr. Knowles was held for approval
by Mr. Knowles.
The Trustees signed a Quitclaim Deed for that portion of property filled
in by dredging and tides between Corey Creek and land owned by Alexander
and Frederick Koke, bouthold. A copy was made of the deed and placed in
the files of the Town Trustees.
Application of Henry F. and Henry S. Huecker~ to build a private dock for
a small boat in Deep Hole Creek ~n front of their own property, Mattituck,
was approved. Dock - 30' x 4' - Fee $10.00.x/
Application of Doris Price Moeller to tie proposed channel to Eugene
Creek, Cutchogue, all in accordance with the application submitted,
was approved by the Trustees. Fee $10.00.~/
Application of Russell B. Case for F. H. Case Est., Cutchogue, to dyke
farmland to stop flooding by very high Tides was discussed. The Trustees
will ~s~ect the area before making a decision.
The next m~eting of the Town Trustees will be Monday, October
at 7:30 P.M. ~x~~ ~. ~
