HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-03/02/1970MEETING OF MARCH 2, 1970. The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office at 7:30 P.M. on March 2, 1970 with the following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, George Simpson, Frank Dawson, Douglas Robertson and Marion Regent, Secretary. Absent: John F. McNulty. The minutes of the meeting of January 5, 1970 were read and approved. A letter was received from Richard Lark, Esq., Attorney for William Victoria and wife, explaining that the description on the deeds to Wm. Victoria & wife whieh the Trustees signed on January 5, 1970 were in error. He enclosed corrected deeds which were signed by the Trustees and returned to Mr. Lark. The incorrect deeds were cancelled. Application of William Pollert, Pine Neck Road, Southold, to redredge the channel along his property 250' was approved, all in accordance with the application. Fee $12.00. A letter was read from Dr. Samuels informing the Trustees of his compliance with the request of the Trustees to reopen the channel behind Fisherman's Beach at the Johnson Tighe area for small boats. ~ letter of appreciation was sent to Dr. Samuels for his cooperation in this matter. The Trustees signed a Quitclaim Deed for that portion of property owned by William Bourqui~non, Jr. and Merle Joan Bour~ui~non which abuts the Mattituck Creek and which was filled in by the County of Suffolk. Fee $1.00~paid. A letter was received from Mrs. Stephen Mutkoski expressing concern over the petition of George ~emerjian, Levon Properties, ~e~e~op a 135 acre tract in East Marion.
