93 Meeting of July 12, ~1971 The Southold Town Board of Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk's Office, Main Road, Southold, New York, on Monday, July 12, 1971, at 7:30 PoM., with the following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, Chairman, John F. McNulty, Douglas Robertson, Frank Dawson~ George Simpson, and Judith T. Boken, Secretary. The Board signed the following approved permits: ~45-Goose Bay Civic Association, Inc.; ~646-Goose Bay Civic Association, Inc.; ~647-Edward R. ~urke; ~648-Chris~ian Rasmussen; ~649-Charles Burst and Herbert Lind~veit (6 Stakes~262); ~650-Paul Stoute~burgh (1 Stake-~263). Mr. and Mrs. Ja~es Kimmin$, Mayflower Road, Mattituck, New York, appeared before the Board to answer any questions regarding their property at Ole Jule Lane, on James Creek, Mattituck, for permission to bulkhead and dredge for backfill. Mr. and Mrs. Kimmins stated that the bulkhead would be above high water mark and the dredging would be for fill 0~ly. Th~ are interested in gaining more water area in front of their property, rather than more property~for themselves. On motion of Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. DawsQn, it was RESOLVED that the application of James Kimmins, Mayflower Road, Mattituck, New York, be granted for permission to bulkhead 55 ft. across--his own property and dredge for backfill only, at Ole Jule Lane, James Creek, Ma~tituck, New YorK, all in accordance with the application submitted. Fee $6.00 paid. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Dawson, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Simpson. On motion of Mr. Simpson, seconded by Mr. McN~lty, it was RESOLVED that the application of Carl Hockemey.er, 103 Luquer Road, Port Washington, New York, be granted for permission to bulkhead 70 ft. across his property on Mill Creek, Bayview Avenue, Southold, New York, all in accordance with the application sub- mitted. This bulkhead is to be entirely on Mr. Hock~meyer's property and there is no dredging involved. Fee $5.00. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Dawson, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Simpson. On motion of Mr. Dawson, seconded by Mr. Robertson, it was RESOLVED that the application of Yolanda Grattan, Bayview Avenue, Southold, New York, be granted for permission to bulkhead 60 ft. across her property on Mill Creek, Bayview Avenue, Southold, New York, all in accordance with the application submitted. ~his bulkhead is to be entirely on Mrs. Grattan's property and there is no dredging involved. Fee~ $5.00. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Simpson, Mr. Robertson. 94 On motion of Mr. Da~son, ~seconded by Mr. Simpson, it was RESOLVED that the application of Y~landa Robbins, Deep Hole Drive, Mattituck, New York, be granted for permission to bulkhead her property on Deep Hole Creek, 50 ft. across, Mattituck, New York, all in accordance with the application submitted. This bulkhead is to be entirely on Mrs. Robbins'property and there is-no dredging involved. Fee $12.50. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Simpson.' On motion of Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. McNulty, it was RESOLVED that the application of ~rthur W. Huqhes, Ole Jule Lane, Mattituck, New York, be granted for permission to dredge for back- fill, and build a bulkhead on his property at JameslCreek, Mattituck, New York, and place two boat stakes in James Creek, all in accordance with the application submitted. Fee $12~52. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Simpson. An application was received from Rudolph Koubek, 24 Champlin Avenue, East Islip, New York, for permission to dredge on his property at Eugene's Creek, Harbor Lane, Cutchogue, New York. There is a question as to where the dredged material is to be deposited and a letter was transmitted to Mr. Koubek requesting this information, due to the new Wetlands Ordinance now in effect. An amended application was received from Robert T, Halliday to construct a 44 ft. ramp and 14 ft. by 9 ft. float in front of his property at Long Creek, Westview Drive, Mattituck, New York. Mr. Halliday was granted Permit No. 642, May 3, 1971 for a~t~oat 8 ft. by ,10 ft. The Board will inspect the site. ~ Application was received from Frederick Reiff, 575 Westview Drive, Mattituck, New York, to install a floating walk and dock at Mattituck Inlet. The Board~ill inspect the site. Application was received from Charles and Amelia Perner, 2000 Deep Hole Drive, Mattituck, New York, for permission to replaoe a winter damaged dock, 25 ft. by 3 ft. at Deep Hole Creek, Mattituc~, New York. The Board will inspect the site. Application was received from Anthony R. Villano, 75-38 Kessel Place, Forest Hills, New York, for permission to install a ramp 48 ft. by 3 ft. and an 8 ft. dock on his property at Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck, New York, 1950 Deep Hole Drive. The Board will inspect the site. On motion of Mr., Robertson, seconded by Mr. Dawson, it was RESOLVED that Frank Milowski, Mattituck, New York, be granted permission to build a ~6 ft. by 4 ft. floating dock with two pilings on the property of John W. Boucher, at James Creek, Mattituck, New York, all in accordanc~ with the application submitted. There is a letter on file from Mr. John W. Boucher giving Mr. Milowski 95 permission t© place this floating dock on his property. Fee $10.00. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Simpson. Application was received from Mar.jorie D. Philli,p~., Mill Road, Mattituck, New York, for permission to bulkhead along the high water mark and install a float and dock at her property on Mattituck Creek. The Board will inspect the site. On motion of Mr. Dawson,. seconded by Mr. Simpson, it was RESOLVED that application of Thomas F. Lloyd, 765 Oak Avenue, Goose Bay Estates, Southold, New York, be granted for permission to install one mushroom mooring bouy approximately 200 ft. from the boat ramp in Goose Creek at Oak Avenue, SouthQl~, New York, all in accordance with the application submitted. Fee $1.00. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Rober tson, Mr. Simpson. Application was received from George F. Anderegg, Jr. and Karen Anderegg, 15 Washington Place, New York, New York, for permiss~n to amend application of Rita Marie Pascua for four (4) boat stakes on West Lake, Bay View, Southold, New York. Mr. Anderegg purchased the property of Miss Pascua and found that there is a catwalk and floating dock in existence without a permit, as well as the four boat stakes. On motion of Mr. Dawson, seconded by Mr. Robertson, it was RESOLVED that George F. Anderegg Jr. & Karen Anderegg, 15 Washington Avenue, New York, N.Y. be granted permission to maintain four boat stakes and a 6 ft. by 8 ft. floating dock and 18 ft. by 2½ ft. catwalk at their property at West Lake Road, on West Lake, Southold, New York, all in accordance with the application submitted. Fee $13.00.- $4.00 for boat stakes paid by Miss Pascua under permit No. 196. Balance due $9.00. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Simpson, Mr. Robettson. On motionof Mr. Simpson, seconded by Mr. McNulty, it was RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of June 7, 1971 be approved as submitted. Vote of the Board: Ayws: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Simpson. On motion of Mr. Dawson, seconded by Mr. McNulty, it was RESOLVED that the next meeting of the Southold Town Trustees will be held at 7:30 P.M., Monday, August 2, 1971 at the Town Clerk Office, Main Road, Southold, New York. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Simpson. On motion of Mr. Dawson, seconded by Mr. McNulty, it was, RESOLVED that the Southold Town Trustees approves the dredging 96 operations proposed by the Department of Public Works, Suffolk County, Yaphank, New York, at Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck, Great Peconic Bay, Town of Southold, New York. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Dawson, Mr. McNulty, Mr. Simpson, Mr~_~obertson. A copy of the Southold Town Planning Board minutes of May 13, 1971 was received by the Southold Town Trustees and placed on file. Copies of letters from the Soutbold Town Planning Board to Mr. Steve Mitacchione (6-18-71), and Christian E. Rasmussen (6-18-71) were received and placed on file. Meeting adjourned at 9:45 PoM.
