A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order by President
Emmons Dean at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 30, 1962 at the Supervisor's
Office, Greenport, L.I., N.Y.
Present: Emmons Dean, Frank Dawson, Philip Weiler, John McNulty, Alvah
Goldsmith and Marion Regent.
Supervisor Lester Albertson was present at this meeting to discuss
common problems.
Mr. Larry Tuthill of New Suffolk Dock Building Corporation appeared
in reference to the proposed dredging at the inlet to Dam Pond, East
Marion. He submitted a revised proposal for dredging of the inlet to
Dam Pond and showing disposal area. As this revised project appears
to remove all objections as to danger to the existing highway bridge,
the Board voted to grant the request for the proposed dredging at a
fee of $1.00 since the project appears to be to the advantage of the
people in the area.
Mr. Albertson proposed an idea of a potential swap of land on Jockey
Creek for the closing of the end of Pine Neck Road, at the request
of Pollert and Rath.
Mr. Albertson also mentioned the possibility of acquiring Robins
Island for a County Park. He also proposed the formation of a public
marina in Gull Pond.
The possibility of acquiring property at Cedar Beach Point for future
Town development was also discussed.
Availability of a Town Map (Aerial Pictures) was announced by Mr.
Albertson as soon being available.
Spring Pond, Gardiners Bay Estates application to the Town Board for
assistance in dredging was withdrawn due to the fact that the area
under water would then come under Town jurisdiction.

Love Lane and east of Westphalia Avenue on Mattituck Creek.
Application of John Delaney for a stake in Town Creek 30 feet off the
end of Terry Lane was approved. Fee 50¢ paid.
The application of Evelyn Audioun was held up pending further invest-
igation because of her statement that conditions encountered made
the original amount of fill to be removed bnpractical due to the
muddy condition of the bottom.
A letter w~x from William Wickham requesting a quit claim deed to a
15 foot strip of land filled by the dredgi~ of Mattituck Creek and
owned by James Delahanty and wife was read and discussed. The Board
