BOARD 0F SOUTHOLD TOWN TRUSTEES
Meeting of June 7, 1976
A regular meeting of the Board of Southold Town Trustees was
held at 7:30 P.M., Monday, June 7, 1976, at the Town Board
meeting room, 16 South Street, Greenport, New York, with the
following present:

Also present: Orville Terry NFEC; Bob Rinklin -L.I. Traveler Watchman

Fisherman's Beachi Cutchogue, N.Y. was further tabled at the request
of the applicant's attorney, Wil'liam Wickham, Esq., Mattituck; N.Y.
Application of Leonard Walters, 2900 Stillwater Avenue, Cutchogue~ N.Y.
~r permission to place offshore mooring at East Creek, Cutchogue, N.Y.
~was rturther tabled. No further information or revised plan has been
received from the applicant.
On motion of'Mr. Bird, seconded by. Mr.~lHortbn. it was
R$SOLVED that Dwight Edstr~m, Grand Avenue P.O. Box 170, Mattituck, N.Y.
~ GRANTED permission to placeoffshore mooring(3001b, mushroom w/ 75ft.
chain) atMattituck craek, Mattituck, N.Y.,. all-in accordance with the
detailed specificatiOnS' as p~esent~d in the 6riginating application.
Fee paid $5.00
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Horton,
Mr'; Bird, Mr. Hataier.
This mooring will not be put out until after Labor Day.
On motion of Mr. Ho~ton, seconded bM:Mr. Hataier, it was
RESOLVED that Jean Harford, Pvt. Road, Southold, N.Y. be
/~RANTED permission tO place ramp 2½' xl0', float 6'x18' w/ 2 pilings
at Corey Creek, Southold, 'N.Y., all in acoordance with the detaile~d
specifications .as presented in the originating applicatiqn. Fee
paid $15.30

pn motion of Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Hataier, it was
~/kESOLVED that~Henry D. Won~, Mason Drive, Cutchogue, N.Y. be
GRANTED permission to place ramp 2½' x 10', float 6' x 20' with 2
pilings at Haywater Cove, Cutchogue, N.Y., all in-accordance with
p. 210
the detailed specifications as presented in the originating application.
Fee paid $16.50.

On motion of Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Bird, it was
RESOLVED that John H. Becket, North Bayview Road, Southold, N.~. be

Southold, N.Y.(at the end of Beachwood Lane), all in accordance with
the detailed specifications as presented in the originating applica-
tion. Fee paid $5.00

YMinnehaha Blvd., Southold, N.Y., all in accordance with the detailed
specifications as presented in the originatingi~application. Fee
paid $5.00

Chairman Goldsmith read letter Of May 27, 1976 received from Lorraine
Du~huber regarding properties at Mud Creek, Little Neck Shores,
Cut~hogue.'~.Enclos~d.'were Copies of d~ed~dated~JulM'6, 1936 covering
~the sale of the propert¥~by Carrie L. Wells to'J0hnHenwood and 2
surveys (1) one-of the Duhhuber property~dated~1971 ; (2) survey
,/of Little Neck Shores dated 1929, both by Otto Van Tuyl. Mr.
RObertsom had secured the map ~F'the subject properties from.Van

LarryTuthill asked if ~he Board was aware of the idea of join6 meeting~

Wetlands Act. The Board has been studying the proposed TidalW'etlands
Act. Orville Terry advised the Board that the proposed Tidal Wetlands
Map is available for inspect-i.on at~N.Y~S. Dec 0ffioe, Bldg!. 40,
Stonybrook, N.Y.
On motion~of Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Goldsmith, it was
RESOLVED.that the minutes or-the Board o£-Southold Town Trustees,
dated MaY 17~ 1976 be approved as submitted.
