A meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called for October 6, 1969,
at 7:30 P.M.. Present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, Douglas Robertson and Marion
Regent, Secretary. Since there was not a quorum, appliactions were read
and discussed but no action was taken. The Trustees will meet again on
October 20, 1969 at 7:30 P.M.
The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office, Southold, on
Monday, October 20, 1969, at 7:30 with the following present: Alvah B.
Goldsmith, John F. McNulty, Frank Dawson, Douglas Robertson and
Marion Regent, Secretary.
A~plication of Edward Hanson, Laurel Resourses Corporation, Indian Neck
Road and Main Road, Peconic, N.Y. to clear an area in Richmond Creek of
mud and form a channel 850 feet x 40 feet · to the State drain was read
and discussed. Approved - Fee $180.00.
Application of Jacob Mollick, West View Drive, Mattituck, to build a
bulkhead 75 feet in length in front of his property on Mattituck Inlet
was approved. Fee $18.75.
Application of Edward Dennis, West View Drive, Mattituck, N.Y. to build
a bulkhead 75 feet in length in front of his property on Matti~ ck Inlet
was approved. Fee $18.75.
Application of William Alfred Bourquignon and wf. , North Drive, Mattituck,
to install a floating dock and mooring on existing dock, 8 ft. x 30 ft.
was read and approved. Fee $19.00.
Application of Fisherman's Beach Association to dredge a channel 30 ft.
x 30 ft. in Broadwaters Creek was read and discussed. The fill created
in the dredging witl be placed on the property of William Johnston on
the extreme tip of Fisherman's Beach, bulldozed and graded so as not to
alter the height of the property. Application Approved. Fee $12.00.
Application of Harry E. Kampf, Southwood, Southold, to obtain fill for
Lot 13, 133 ft. x 50 ft. was discussed. The Trustees will investigate
this request.
Application of Louis A. Zieqler, Bayview Avenue, Matiituck, N.Y. to cons-
truct a dock 75 feet x 3 feet in Mattituck Inlet was read and approved.
Fee $39.50.
Application of Cynthia Kaminsky, Mill Road, Mattituck, to construct a
dock 30 feet x 10 feet in Mattituck Creek in front of her property
was read and approved. Fee $19.00.
Application of Helen Reiter~ Main Road, Southold, N.Y. to restore erosion
damage and straighten shoreline in Mill Creek, $outhold, th~s correcting
damage done since 1962 by dredging project, was read and discussed. The
Trustees have no objection to the project but held the application until
i~ is determined by the County how much fill will be move~
