The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Office, Southold, N.Y.
on Monday, September 8, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. with the following
present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, George Simpson, F~ank Dawson, Douglas
Robertson and Marion Regent, Secretary. Absent: John F. ~cNulty
Application of Percy E. Hommel to place a stake off Narrow River
Road, in Orient, N.Y. was denied at the present time, due to the
number of permits already issued in that area.
Mr. William Baxter appeared before the Board at the Board's re-
quest in answer to a letter received from Howard C. Biqg of
Fisherman's Beach. Mr. Bigg complained that Mr. Baxter had
dredged onto his property on the easterly portion of Lot 927, Peconic
Bay Properties. Mr. Baxter explained that he had consulted Mr.
Bigg about the dredging, had instructed the dredging contractor
to dredge in front of his own property, h~n~o~im a survey
of his property and felt certain that~e/had stayea within the
boundary lines of his property. The members of the Board will
examine the project.
Application of Walter Miller, East Legion Drive, Mattitu~k, made
by Dr. Samuels, President of Rambo, Inc. was examined. The Board
waves objection to this application since all construction appears
to be on the owners property.
Application of Fisherman's Beach Association, Broadwaters Creek,
Cutchogue, to dredge in channel was discussed. A letter was
written to Dr. Samuels, Rambo Inc., to inquire where the excavated
300 yds. of fill is to be placed.
