MEETING OF APRIL 14, 1969
The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office, Southold, on
Monday, April 14, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. with the following present: Pres-
ident Alvah B. Goldsmith, Frank Dawson, George Simpson, Douglas Robert-
son and Marion Regent, Secretary. Absent: John F. McNulty.
Permits for stakes were granted to the following in the Goose Bay
Civic Association area on Goose Creek after receiveing applications
with numbers of stakes taken from the map prepared by the Associaiton
and each applicant having received permission from the waterfront owner:

Application of Robert H. Chilton, Beechwood Lane, Southold, to clean
up and dredge 101' in length and 20' in width in front of his property
on Goose Creek, (Southwood) was granted. Fee $8.00.
Application of Judqe Pierson R. Hildreth, Hill Street, Southold, N.Y.
to dredge 45' in front of his property on Jockey Creek, Southold,
and construct a dock 40' x 5' was granted. Dock-S25.00, Dredging-S20.00
Total fee $45.00. Permit granted subject to fill being removed to above
high water mark on applicant's property.
Application of Karl F. Dimig and wife, Bungalow Lanw, Mattituck, N.Y.
to construct a dock in front of his property on Deep Hole Creek 50' x 3'
was granted. Dock-S25.00, 4 spiles-$4.00. T~tal fee-S29.00. ~74~
Application of W. Core¥ Albertson, Wells Ave., Southold, to remove
sand and silt from Jockey Creek in front of his property in the
amount of 75 yards was granted. Fee $5.00.
Application of Robert Rothman, Wells Avenue, Southold, to remove sand
and silt from Jockey Creek in front of his property in the amount of
75 yards was granted. Fee $5.00.
Application of John G. Whistler, Westphalia Road, Mattituck, N.Y. to
place a mooring in Mattituck Creek off Westphalia Road was granted.
Fee $1.00 paid.
Application of Robert Gillespie for a mooring post 25' west of his
dock as show~n on the application was granted, (Goose Bay Estates)
Fee $1.00.
A copy of the Ordinance regulating the removal of sand, gravel or
other materials from lands under water was sent to Mr. Irving Latham
Orient, together with a letter informing him that the ordinance applied
to the dredging operators as well as the individual applying for the
dredging, the information was sent to him by registered mail.
Application of Marqaret K. Bible, to establish and maintain a new
dock in front of her property at Goose Bay Estates was granted together
with stakes ~30 and ~31 as shown on Goose Bay Civic Association Map.
Dock-S24.00, stakes-S2.00. Total Fee $26.00.
Application of Herbert Hermann, Goese Bay Estates, to build a dock
30' long and install a post off dock was granted, Dock-S15.00,
Post -$1.00. Total Fee $16.00.
Application of Helen E. Schwan, Goose Bay Estates, Southold, to erect
a dock 40' long in front of her property on Goose Creek and install
a stake ~1 as hsown on Goose Bay Civic Association Map was granted.
Dock-S20.00, Stake 1.00. Total Fee $21.00.
The next meeting of the Town Trustees will be held May 12, 1969,
at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Clerk Office.
