The regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was held at the Town
Clerk Office on Monday, September 9, 1968, a~ 7:30 P.M. with the follow-
ing present: President Alvah B. Goldsmith, Frank Dawson, John F. McNulty,
George Simpson, Douglas Robertson and Marion Regent, Secretary.
Attorney Richard Lark appeared before the Board to report that Mr. William
Victoria was willing to come to an agreement on removing fill from the
creek bottom in Corey Creek. Before the October meeting the Trustees
will revisit the site and with the aid of a surveyor determine the area
where the Trustees require Mr. Victoria to remove fill.
The minutes of the meetings of July 1 and August 19, 1968 were read
and approved by the Board.
Application of Charles Wittmer to place two ~2) stakes in Richmond Creek,
Southold, at the end of South Harbor Road, Southold, was investigated
for space by Mr. William Januick and approved by the Trustees. Fee $2.00.
Application of William B. Johnson, Haywaters Road, Cutchogue, (Nassau Pt.)
to bulkhead and dredge in Haywaters Cove in front of his property to re-
claim land lost by erosion and protect existing property and buildings
was approved. Approximate yards to be excavated-1700, bulkhead-202 feet,
total fee $1S8.50. All work approved in accordance with application sub-
mitted.

Application of Charles Gagen, Southold, to dredge meadow grass in Goose
Creek, Southold, along his property on Clearview Avenue was ~iscussed.
The application was held in abeyance for examination by the Board.
Application of Telesphore F. Wolanski to place a stake in Goose Creek,
15' east of Gagen's Landing Rd. and 40' out in the creek was granted,
approval having been granted by the upland owner, Charles Gagen. Fee $1.00.
Application of C. H. Wickham to build a dock in Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck,
48' x 3' was held for further information. Mr. Wickham neglected to indic-
ate on the application where the dock was to be located.
Application of Alberta W. Smith, (William Wickham, Attorney) for a grant
of land in the West branch of Mattituck Creek adjoining her property,
was granted, all in accordance with the description accompanying the
application and the Indenture made by William Wickham between the Town
of Southold and Alberta W. Smith, Mill Road, Mattituck, N.Y. Fee $1.00.
Application of Rudolph Armbrust, Mattituck, N.Y. for a quitclaim deed
to filled area on the west side of Mattituck Creek was reviewed. The
Trustees require agreements of adjoining owners as to the dividing line
between the properties.
Application of Arthur J. Smith was granted after receiv~ing by phone the
necessary information in relation to the proposed bulkhead in Mill Creek,
Southold, Fee $16.00.
The ne~t meeting of the SoUthold Town Trustees will be held on the
7th day of October, 1968, at, the Town Clerk Office.
