The Southold To%rn Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office on January 15,
1968, at 7:30 P.M. with the following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, John
F. McNulty, Douglas Robertson, George Simpson, Frank Dawson and Marion
Regent, Secretary.
This meeting being the first meeting of the year 1968~ as called to order
as an Organization Meeting. On regular vote Alvah B. Goldsmith was unan-
imously elected President of the Southold Town Trustees
Marion Regent was appointed Secretary.

The minutes of the meeting of December 4, 1967, were read and approved.
Mr. Irving Latham, Mr. R. M. Oram and Mr. Gallo appeared before the
Town Trustees in relation to dredging in Little Creek along the shore
lines ~n front of the property owners. After discussion the applications
were granted to the following persons for the fees indicated:

Introductory Local Law No. 3 of the year 1967 regulating dredging oper-
ations in the water courses and wetlands of the Town of Brookhaven were
received from that Town-and several copies will be made for the Town
Trustees to read and study for information.
A Quitclaim Deed from Mr. Fred J. Sprauer to the Southold Town Trustees
conveying all of his right, title and interest in the lands and lands

at Little Creek, Cutchogue, N.Y.~The executed a quitclaim
deed relative to lands under water lying south of the proposed channel
at Little Creek, Cutchogue, N.Y. and the original of same was returned
to Richard J. Kron, Attorney, to be recorded by him at the County Clerk
Office at Riverhead, L.I., N.Y.
Application of Southold Development Corporation, Daniel Smith, President,
to dredge area along shoreline of Goose Creek, on property located at
North Bay View Road, Southold, was approved after discussion.
Length-900 feet, Widt~ 30 feet. Fee $90.00

Application of Auqust H. Bohn, Beebe Drive Extension, Cutchogue, N.Y.
to dredge a private boat basin 40' x 40' was discussed. The application
was amended to restrict the width of the proposed boat basin to 25 feet
by 40 feet in length and the yardage to be excavated reduced from 1000
to 725 cu. yd. as a result. The amended application was approved. Fee $29.00.
The amended application of Cosmos Wickersheim to construct a walkway 60'
to dock and make an addition of 6½ feet to the dock in Deep Hole Creek,
Mattituck, was approved. Fee $33.25. Mr. Wickersheim was present at the
meeting and explained that he ~had already constructed the walkway, having
been unaware that he had to have a permit for same.
Otto VanTuyl & Son, licensed land surveyors, submitted a map outlining
the proposed limits of the property line on Gull Pond of Michael Mastro-
simone for the approval of the Town Trustees. It appeared from the map
that this is a reasonable settlement of the boundaries of the property
of Mr. Mastrosimone as far as the Trustees are concerned, ~earing in mind
the fact that h~ had previously given up to the Town cert~n lands that
were removed by the County Dredge in the dredging of Gull Pond.
