Present: Emmons Dean~ President Lyle F. Tuthi'~l Frank Dawson John McNulty Alvah B. Goldsmith~ Clerk Marion Winters Minutes of the previous meeting were read for information. Application of N,. Y. State Conservation Department~ Bureau of Marine ~'msneries~ 6~ West Sunrise Highway~ Freeport~ L.I. for lease of ~ section of bottom (approximately ~ acre) in the northwest corner of Dam Pond~ East Marion~ for experimental work in the raisdng of seed oysters was read. The Supervisor (Mr. Norman E. Klipp) and the Town Board have recom- mended that this Board e×ecute a lease for 3 years with a renewal option as requested and that the lease be made without fee. It was regularly voted and carried that such a lesse be drawn as promptly as possible as requested. Application of Thomas A. Litsch for permission Eo dredge and erect a dock ih front of his property at Jockey Creek~ Southold~ was a~ain presented with a sketch and it w~s voted to ~rant the request~ the fee to be $10.00. Application of William T. and Rose M. King for per- mission to dredge in front of their property on Arshamomaque Creek and to erect three small docks not over 20 feet from high water mark on the easterly side. north of railroad bridge was read. It was vote~ to grant the permit~ fee to be $1g. O0, Application of U. S.,. Department of ~.~riculture~ Agricultural Research Service f6r the Plum Island Animal Disease Laboratory~ 2~ Front Street~ P.O. Box 848~ Greenport~ L.I. was read. Since this request concerns private properties and the only properties concerning the Town would be the cutting through of the beach~ it wns voted to grant the permit without fee.
