Vote of Town ~-~: Ayes- ALL MEMBERS Several members of the Orient area appeared before the Trustees regard- ing the meadow land along the State Park property in Orient. Since the rumored "take over" of property ~ State Park Commission was ex- plained as being merely a survey for information of the Commission, and since any acquisition of land would be preceeded by a local hearing and would afford the local residents an opportunity to express themselves favorably before such a project would be approved, the matter was considered closed for the time being. Application of Irvinq C. Latham, Orient, N.Y. to dredge a channel to State Park property and Little Bay in Orient was discussed. Since the proposed dredging is all on Mr. Latham's own property, the Trustees w~ved objection to this project. Mr. William Januick, Bay Constable, appeared before the meeting and agreed to inspect the dredging, docks and bulkheads as a result of permits issued by the Town Trustees. The Town Trustees will meet Bt the Town Clerk's Office, at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 12, 1967, weather permitting, to view property in relation th the applications of the following: Ann Marie Nelson Frank Zeleski Arthur Guitard & ors.
