HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-06/12/1967MEETING OF JUNE 1~, 1967 The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office on Monday, June 12, 1967 at 6:30 P.M. to view properties, returning at 7:30 P.M. for a meeting. Present: Alvah Goldsmith, Douglas Robertson, ~rank Dawson, George Simpson, and Marion Regent, S cretary. Application of the Department of Public Works for permission to dredge in LONG CREEK was granted all in accordance with the preliminary map, the channel to have a width of 30 to 50 feet and a depth of 4' minimum. A letter was forwarded to Commissioner Kammerer granting approval of this dredging. Application of Charles J. and Frieda L. Kanka of Beebe Drive, Cutchogue, to dredge in Eugene's Creek was granted all in accordance with the application and sketch on the map included with the application. The action was approved by the~lanning Board prior to the approval of the Town Trustees. ~ee $12.00.J Application of Albert and Olqa Brandsema, Jockey Creek Drive, Southold, to install a dock 15' x 6' in front of their property on Jockey Creek was approved. Fee $8.00. ~ The following applications for stakes were read and approved: 1. Arthur Antonison - one stake - Corey Creek, Southold, - .50 / 2. Virgil Brown - on, stake - Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck, - .50 / 3. Goose Neck Property Owners Association, Inc. - 6 stakes ( 3 at foot of West Creek Rd., 3 at foot of Williams Rd.) Granted subject to ample clearance for trailer launching and hauling at each location. Fee $3.00. -- 4. Ira J. Horne~ Jr. South Harbor Rd., Southold, - 2 stakes - Richmond Creek, foot of Wells Avenue, Peconic, -$1.00 ~ 5.E. Cometh - Bay A enue, Cutchogue - one s~ake - Mudd Creek - .50 /~ Application ~g~ ~a~i~i~ ~P~n~%"~%~ Road, Cutchogue, to place a stake for a rowboat in Richmond Creek was read. Permission of the owner of the property to which Mr. Kirwin will need access must be obtained before a permit can be issued in this location. A letter was written to Mr. Kirwin. Application of H. Bradley and ~elen A. Moore to dredge 100 feet~ 50 feet in Goose Creek, Southold, was approved. 1200 cu yds. $48.00. ~ Application of Broadwaters Cove Civic Association, (Mr. Edward C. Thomsen) to re=dredge between the existing floats and shore in Bro~dwaters Cove, Cutchogue, was read and approved. 550 cu. yds. - $22.00. Application of Raymond J. Kenny to dredge in East Eugene Creek was tabled after much consideration and discussion. Mr. Goldsmith will talk to Mr. Kenny. A letter was sent to Rev. Donald Stacey ~egarding his complaint about the situation of boats at the end of Gagens' Landing Road, Southold.
