A regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was
called to order at the Southold Town Clerk's Office,
Southold, L.I. at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, November 2?,
1963.
Present:

Alvah B. Goldsmith
Marion Regent
The President, after calling the meeting to order,
asked that the Board bow in silent prayer to the
memory of our deceased President John F, Kennedy,
who died November 22, 1963.
A letter was read from John G. Glander~urging the
dredging of the mouth of West Creek, which has closed.
It was recommended by the Town Board of Trustees
that the Town Board consider opening West Creek and
that the Town Board be notified accordingly.
Application of Lowell Lo~emwell for Permission to
put out 4 stakes to moor ~ boat_Soinea dredged basin at
the end of Beachwood Lane0and~ c~eek, South°id,
was received. Application granted , fee $2.00.
Application of Ralph G. Reed~ Jr. for permit to dredge
entrance to Cedar Beach Harbor, Southold approved.
Fee based on approximately 750 cu. yds. out of channel,
$30.00.
A quitclaim deed was signed by the Town Trustees for
the property between former and present high water marks
in Mattituck Creek , property ~n~ f~on~ of Vina Baker and
George VanBuren on Mattituck Creek. Fee $1.00.
