HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-04/29/1963MEETING OF APRIL 29, 1963. A regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order at 4 P.M., April 29, 1963 at the Town Clerk Office by President Dean. Present: Emmons Dean Philip Weiler Frank Dawson John McNulty Alvah Goldsmith Marion Regent Mr. Edwin King and Mr. George McMann, his attorney, a~tended the meeting to submit an application for installing 34 mooring stakes off his property on Narrow River Road, Orient, N.Y. There was a dis- cussion as to the propriety of issuing this permit in view of the fact that an information had been filed with a Justice of the Peace of the Town of Southold claiming that Mr. King was in violation of the Town Ordinance in the work already performed and which was still pending. Mr. Tasker, Town Counsel, was called to come to the meeting to give his opinion prior to any action by this Board. Application of Julian Zurawski for permit to build a dock and install a float off the end thereof was referred to Mr. McNulty and Mr. Dawson for checking before consideration. After consultation wi~h Mr. Tasker,and Mr. King's agreeing that this application had no connection with the original application which was pending and which was admittedly in violation, At was moved, seconded and carried that the application for the thirty-four atakes be approved. Fee .50 per stake. Application of Lloyd Hamilton for five (5) stakes in Mattituck Creek was approved. Fee $2.50. Minutes read and approved. Meeting adjourned at Alvah B.
