A regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to Drder at 1:45 P.M., March 25, 1963 at the Southold Town Clerk Office by President Emmons Dean. Present: ~mmons Dean Philip Weiler Frank Dawson Alvah Goldsmith Marion Regent Application of Dr. E. B. Plump for permission to erect a pier in front of his property on Jockey Creek 35 feet long and 5 feet wide was read and approved. Fee $25.00. Application was received from William Boscola, Jr. for Mattituck Holding Co. for permission to install pilings and floating docks in Mattituck Inlet which docks would enclose an area approximately 90 feet by 230 feet in front of their bulkheaded property. The total length of the floating docks as per sketch is 278 feet and the number of pilings to be used as mooring piles is 28. Based on a charge of 50¢ per foot for the docks and 50¢ each for pilings the total fee for the proposed project is $153.00. Application of John J. Bondarchuk for permission to place two mooringspiles off'~the Town rented landing in Orient off Narrow River Road was approved. Fee $1.00 paid. A discussion was held on the best pro=edure to check on unauthorized stakes in Town waters. It was decided to bring up the matter at our next meeting and arrange for a tour of inspection later in the spring. The next meeting of the Trustees to be held at 4 P.M. Minutes read and approved.
