TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE -- SOUTHOLD, NEW YORK.
A meeting of the Town Trustees was held in the Town ClekR's
Office, Southold, N.Y., on Saturday, January 30, 1951+, at
1:30 P.M.
Present: Emmons Dean, President
John McNulty
Frank Dawson
Alvah B. Goldsmith
Marion Winters
The Organization Meeting was held and Mr. Emmons Dean
was elected President, John McNulty, Vice-President and
A19ah B. Goldsmith, Clerk.
Mr. George Wetmore appea~ed before the Board in regard
to an application by Mr. Helmut Haas for permission to
grade the be2ch in front of his lot ~n Asshamomoque
Creek, bounded as follows: East by Bayview Ave., south
by land now or formally of George Kaelin, West by Arsh-
smomeque Creek and North by land of George Kaelin, about
350 feet North of 01d Colony Road, with approximately
85 feet of shore frontage. Alson to erect a dock in front
of said property not to exceed 30 feet in length from
average high water mark. Fee $10.OO.
A second proposal by ~r. Haas was ~o dredge and fill
an area most of which is on h~s own property ~nd to take
sufficient fill from Mill Creek to make the filled in
portion at the approximate level of the highway- said
property described as follows: North by North Road,
East by Mr. William Richmond, South by Mill Creek and
West by Mr. William Richmond. Fee $50.00.
Permit was granted to Mr. ~9_qd A. Sanford to dredge
and remove bog in front of his property on Broadwaters
Creek as per application. Fee to be $10.O0.
The Board examined the properties of M~. Haas before
making their decision.
