Meeting of Southold Town Trustees called to order at 1:1~ ?.~I.,
Saturday, November ~th at Southold Town Clerk's Office, Southold
New York. Those present were:
Emnons Dean
Lyle F. Tuthill
Harry Mason
Alvah B. Goldsmith
Town Counsel, R. G. Terry, Jr.
The mim~tes of the meeting of July 18th were wead for information.
The Secretary reported that all the necessary releases & requests
had been received from N~sau~Farms~9~iation- Mrs. Constance
~essenger and the CommonerS, ~-~n ~bunsel Was authorized
to issue the permit for dredging of Little Creek in accordance
with the resolution adopted at meeting of July 18th.
Formal request was presented from Dr..James D",Volf for permission
to erect at his property , Jockey~'~%~6~'a~ Landing, a
Jetty and a dock in accordance with the sketched map sub-
mitted showing location and dimensions. It was moved, seconded
and carried that the permit be granted. The fee to be $10.00.
A letter was received from Paradis~ Point. Inc. requesting
permission to dredge across the beach on their property and open
up the lagoon in their premises. Permission was granted subject
to the submittal of proper application . The fee to be $~.00.
Formal application for permission to dredge along the shore line
of his property on Goose Creek was received fromm. Leo Roon~
On regular motion duly carried, permission was gran~e~ Toe
fee to be $2~.00
A discussion was had on the advisability of the Town Trustees
having a map of the Town showing Town waters on which could be
shown the location of the various permits & grants made by the
Trustees from time to time. The Clerk was authorized to secure
from Otto Van Tuyl such a map.
A supply of application forms was to be given to the Town Clerk
for the convenience of applicants for permits, etc. concerning
bulkheads, cocks, dredging, etc. in Town waters.
The minutes were read and approved.
