Present at the meeting were the following:

This meeting was called to consider the application of Mr. Theron
Worth of Mattituck~ New York for a permit to dredge and fill land
under water in front of ~is property on New Suffolk Avenue and
Deep Hole Creek in accordance with a rough sketch submitted in his
letter dated February 13, 19~8.
The Board adjourned to the location to inspect the property. After
discussion it was voted that the Clerk of the Board advise Mr. Worth
that a surveryor's map and description must be submitted in duplicate -
showing definite meets and bounds of the area to be dredged and
filled and showing the existing high water mark of the property.
~hese maps are required to be filed and are the basis of the des-
cription that must be used in any permits that may be issued.)
The Clerk was also instructed to inform Mr. Worth that the purpose
of the proposed dredging and filling must be stated definitely -
that any proposed bulkheading must be shov~ as well as any pro-
posed docks; and that letters from adjoining property o~ers
waiving all objections to the proposed work should be submitted~
In the event that objections to the project are made to the Board
then a public hearing ~ill be necessary prior to any action by the
Board in granti~g this permit.
A letter was read from Supervisor Norman Klipp submitting a copy
of the recommendations of the State Auditors with reference to the
hs~udling of moneys received and the filing of duplicate copies of
all leases~ conveyances~ permits~ agreements and writings with the
To~ Clerk. The Clerk of the Board Trustees was instructed to
comply ~ith these reco~mue~ations.
Minutes were read and approved and the meeting adjourned at 3:1~ p.m.
