Meeting of the Town Trustees called to order by President, Emmons
Dean at the Town Clerk's Office, Southold, New York, at 1:4~ P.M.,
Saturday, Eovember 4, 19~O. Those present were:
Emmons Deao~,~
Harry Mason
John McNulty
Alvah B. Goldsmith
Town Counsal~ R. G. Terry, Jr.
President Dean called for a moment of silent prayer in memory
of George C..Terry, former Town Counsel, whose death occurred
on October 26, 19~O.
Matter of application of B. Manasak, Jr. for permission to open
the inlet channel at Cedar Beach, Bay View, Southold, was
discussed and on motion , permission was granted on the under-
standing that the dredging was to be done on property of Howard
Toeder, Inc.
Matter of petition of 31 property owners on Goose Bay to have
the Goose Creek Bridge raised to provide 12' clearance over
channel at high water was discussed and it was moved, seconded,
and carried that this petition be forwarded to the Southold
Town Board with the Trustees recommendation that the Town
Board give favorable consideration to this petition in the
belief that this request can be carried out at a moderate
expenditure.

The application of ~rtemas E. Ward - Dam Pond - ~st Marion
was approved. ~ ' ~ '
The clerk was instructed to send bills to those who have
been issued permits, grants, etc. still outstanding.
Matter of per diem pay of Town Trustees as to when the amount
was increased from $3.00 to $~.O0 was discussed and referred to
Town Counsel for information.
The minutes were read and approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:~0 P.M.
