HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-04/04/1967MEETING OF APRIL 4~ 1967. The Southold Town Trustees met at the Southold Town Clerk Office, Southold, on Monday, April 4, 1967. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, George Simpson, John F. McNulty, Frank Dawson, Douglas Robertson, and Marion Regent, Secretary. Mr. Petrucci attended the meeting and discussed the application of Raymond Kenney to dredge by crane in East (Eugene) Creek. A discussion was held but no definite action was taken. Minutes of the meeting of March 6, 1967 were read and approved. Application of Christian Rasmussen to dig a boat basin in his prop- erty on Eugene's Creek was read and discussed. The Board felt that this permit would set a precedent in that area. A letter was sent to Mr. Rasmussen explaining that action would have to be held in abeyance until the Zoning Board completes it's regulations regarding dredging along shorelines. The Board agreed that it was advisable to have colored pictures taken of the creeks and inland waterways under the jurisdiction of the Trustees. Mr. Goldsmith will confer with the Supervisor in relation to obtaining a lawyer for the case against William Victoria. The next regular meeting of the Southold Town Trustees will be held on Monday, May 1, 1967, at 7:30 P.M. in the Southold Town Clerk Office. Application of the Department of Public Works to dredge in Goose Creek, Southold in accordance with the preliminary map was granted. Adjournment was at 3:30 P.M. Marion A. Secretary Regent
