HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-09/06/1966MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 6, 1966 page 15 The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 6, 1966 with the following present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, President, John F. McNulty, Frank Dawson, Douglas Robertson and Marion Regent, Secretary. Mr. C. Richard Ruttan appeared before the Board with maps and pictures of his property which assured the Trustees that Mr. Ruttan was filling on his own property on Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck, N.Y. Application of Joseph J. Carey, dock 100', ramp 8' and float 20' approved. Fee $64.00. of Park Ave., Mattituck, N.Y. to place a in Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck, was Application of Georqe L. Penny III, New Suffolk Ave., Mattit~ck, N.Y. to erect a dock and float in Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck, was approved. Fee $20.00. Application of Georqe T. and Katherine T. Schneider of Mason Drive, Mattituck, NoY. to erect a dQck in Haywaters Cove, Cutchogue, was approved. Fee $35.50. ~ '~ / Application of William H. Kattau of Mason Drive, Cutchogue, N.Y. to erect a dock in Haywaters Cove, Cutchogue, was approved. Fee $19.00. Application of Henry Haqqerty 3530 Minnehaha Blvd., Southold, N.Y. to maintain his present dock in Corey Creek, Southoldjwas approved. Fee $7.50. Application of Christine A. Wissemann, Wells Ave., bulkhead in front of her property on Jockey Creek, approved. Fee $34.25. Southold, N.Y. Southold, was to Application of R. M. Kammerer, Commissioner of Public Works, to dredge the entrance to Brush's Creek and the entrance to Wickham Creek was discussed and studied by the Trustees. Permits were granted all in accordance with the Preliminary map of Brush's Creek dated August 10, 1966 and map of proposed dredging in Wickham Creek submitted by letter dated August 11, 1966. The application of the Oyster Ponds Rod and Gun Club for dredging in Narrow River was further discussed by the Trustees, a~petition against the project having been received by the Town Board and turned over to the Trustees. This petition was signed by approximately 145 residents in that area. It was the opinion of the Town Trustees to hold the applic- ation for dredging Narrow River until the outcome of the survey and study of the dredged Goose Creek area. Whereas, Anthony Gloria's stake ~51 in Narrow River, Orient, had to be replaced, the Trustees approved of the new location pending examination of the whold area. page MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 6, 1966 CONTINUED 16 Application of John Verity for a stake in Corey Creek, Southold, was denied until the area can be investigated by Mr. Robertson. A letter was received from Mrs. Bassford relating to the boundary line in back of her property on Main Road, East Cutchogue, This will be investigated by the Trustees. Adjournment was at 4:15 P.M.
