The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk's Office, Southold,
New York, on Monday, May 2, 1966 at 1:30 P.M.

Minutes of regular meeting of April 4, 1966 and Special Meeting of
April 12, 1966 were read and approved.
Fifteen people attended the meeting from the area around Little Creek
asking that dredging be done as soon as possible in accordance with
the revisions made possible by the agreement with the Commoners and
the possibility of the use of a smaller dredge. This approval was
subject to satisfactory final agreement with the New Suffolk-
Cutchogue Park District.
Mr. Jansen from the Mason Development offered to buy fill for his
property if more spoil area is needed. The Board informed Mr. Jansen
that the County did not think it feasible at this time to use his
property for fill purposes.
The application for dredging in Little Creek as revised by the
Nassau Farms Property Owners Association was approved by the Trustees
for submittal to the Board of Supervisors.
Application of Leon L Allemon, Mattituck, N.Y., to add to the exist-
ing dock in Deep Hole Creek Was returned for more detailed description.
Application of Anthony J. Gazzola and Albert G. Bergen to bulkhead
on canal off Corey Creek was held for investigation as there was a
question of the jurisdiction of the Trustees on this canal.
Application of Bleecker Construction Cqmpany, Inc.(Bache Bleecker,
President) to dredge a channel in Budd's Pond in connection with
the subdivision "willow Point" was studied and approved, all in
accordance with the application submitted. Fee $120.00.
Application of John Frosina, Oaklawn Ave., Southold, N.Y. to dredge
and improve beach on Jockey Creek was studied and approved. Fee to
beddetermined.
Application of walter Williams of Sound Avenue, Mattituck, N.Y. to
place a stake in Peter's Creek, a branch of Mattituck Creek, was
read and approved. Fee $.50 paid.
Application of willard Crayton of Middleton Road, Greenport, N.Y.
to place two stakes in the creek off Hallock's Bay was read and
approved. Fee $1.00 paid/
Application of W. Stanfield Cooper of Pine Road, Southold, N.Y. was
read. Since the diagram did not give dimensions of work to be done,
the application was returned for a more complete description of
the proposed work.
Applica~ion of Theodore Dumas to place two moorings for his boat
in Mill Creek at the end of Meadow Lane, Southold, N.Y. was =e&d
and approved. Fee $1.00.
The application of M. J. Cassata of Westview Drive, Mattituck,
N.Y. to build a dock, ramp and float in Mattituck Inlet Creek was
read and approved all in accordance with the application submitted.

Application of casbor, Inc. to dredge West Lake to Peconic Bay
was studied and discussed. ~t was decided that the Town Trustees
had no jurisdiction since the dredging is in Peconic Bay.
A letter of protest on further dredging in Broadwaters was received
from Dr. Graham.
