The Southold Town Trustees met at the Town Clerk Office,~outhold,
on Monday, April'~ 4 , 1966 at 1:30 P.M.

Minutes of February 28, 1966 were read and approved.
Application of William E. Bond, Jr. to place a stake in Mill Creek,
Southold, at the end of Meadow Lane was read and al~proved. Fee .50.
Application Qf Michael ~.~ Norkelun, Jr~ to place a- stake in Sterling
Harbor off Beach Road, Greenpor~,~ was =ead-and approved. Fee-.50.
Application of:Joseph W.~Shi~man, Jr. to place a stake in Hallock's
~Bay,~ off Narrow River Road, Orient, was~read and approved, Fee 50¢.
Application of Samuel R2 Radnor to ~place a-stake in Peters Neck off
Narrow River Road, Orient, was read and approved. Fee ~50¢.~ ~' ~
Application of carl and Lena Butkovich -to place~a stake in Goose
Creek off Gagens Landing Road, Southold, wasread and approved.

Application ~Qf John A. clarke, as Treasurer of Harbor Cove, Inc.
to bulkhead property on Wunneweta~ Pond, Nassau Point, Cutchogue,
New York, for private use was read and approve~. Length 250' ~

Application of Michael J~ Morris to build a floating dock in Bud's
Pond, Southold,.~was read and studied. Permit granted as follows

Mr. Leander Glover, Mr. H. G. Meinke and Mr.~ James Sect0~ attended
the, meetin~ to discuss the dredging which is in operation at the
present time in Broadwaters Creek. They were assured by the Town
Trustees that the original plan of dredging has not been changed.
Application of casbor, Inc. to dredge West La~e to Peconic Bay was
read. This application was held for study and review by the Tnustees.
On the advice of Town Counsel, Robert W. Tasker Esq., the Town
Trustees signed a Quitclaim Deed to the village of Greenport
conveying whatever interests the Town might have in the streets
and road ends within the village of Greenport.
The question of unauthorized dredging which has been done by
William Victoria was brought up for discussion. The Board decided
to meet the following week and examine the area before making a decisio~
Letters of protest to the dredging in Broadwaters were received
from Ruth Bailey and Helene Welker.

The Town Trustees called asp~cial ~eeting ~m-%ll A~M. to,act, on
i~forma~ requests for additi0n~t~dredging ~i~ East Creek. ~
1. At the foot of Little Neck Road, and
2. At the end of the ~ight~of way between properties of/Edward
Buchak and George R. T~/thili ,on the easterly Side of~ East Cmeek.
After visiting theare~the Trustees denied both application~
at this time.
The application o~Edward Buchak andwif~ for .a floating dOCk in
Eugene's Creek was reviewed by th~ Trustees and granted.

The Trustees i also examined the unaut~eqd~A~i~tof ~s~
under water by William Victoria. - Mr. Victoria hadbeen warned
several-weeks ago' that he was~ filling town waters without author-
ization and that he should cease any further fil~ling pending action
of the Town Trustees. The Trustees found upon examination that the
~illing had continued and ~chat appr°Ximatety 100 feet on 4:he west-
erly boundary and a greater distance on' the easter'ly pOrtion, had
been filled beyond the point filled by the hydraulic fill during
the dredging of Corey Creek. ~The Board unanimously voted tO have
a letter drawn by the town attorney requiring that the-Unauthor-
