in the dredging of Broadwaters Cove, Mud Creek and East Creek, with
special reference to the spoil areas. After full discussion, the
Town Trustees unanimously reaffirmed their decision published in
local papers by paid notices last November and voted that the
project should proceed as originally authorized. In the light
of present circumstances as applied to this area, it would seem to be
in the public interest to defer action on any suggested changes in
the plan until the results of the present authorized operation
can be observed.
Application of James T. Young was discussed as a result of Mr. McNulty
investigating the area in James Creek where Mr. Young applied for a
stake. The Board decided that unless Mr. Young can obtain permission
from the adjoining property owners inasmuch as Salt Lake Drive is a
privately owned road, this permit would have £to be denied.
Application from F. S. Rosenberg & Ano. was received for dredging in
Sterling Creek, Greenport. sudging.frQm the sketch submitted, this
operation would not come Under the jurisdiction of the Southold Town
Trustees and therefore, the Trustees waved objection to the project.

Creek. After dTscussion, application was approved all in accordance
with the application submitted. Fee $26.00.
