HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-01/03/1966-OORGANIZATION MEETING January 3, 1966 The meeting of the Southold Town Trustees was called to order at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, January 3,1966 at the Town Clerk's Office, Main Road, $outhold, L.I.,N.Y. Present: Alvah B. Goldsmith, John F. McNulty Frank Dawson George Simpson Douglas Robertson Marion A. Regent, President Sec. visitors: Barbara St out enbur gh This meeting was called to order as an Organization Meeting. On regular vote Alvah B. Goldsmith was unanimously re-elected Pres- ident of the Southold Town Trustees. Marion Regent was appointed Secre~a~y. The minutes of the meeting of December 6, 1965 were read and approved. The Secretary was asked to inquire of Otto W. VanTuyl & Son~ how soon we can have the large scale maps of creeks and town- owned land under water as requested in June, 1965. Application of James T. Young of Mattituck, N.Y. to place a dinghy in James Creek at the end of Salt Lake Lane is to be investigated by Trustee John F. McNulty before any action is taken by the Board. A letter was received from Frederick Falconer, Fleetwood Road, Cutchogue, N.Y. by Supervisor Lester M. Albertson and turned over to the Trustees. The letter contained a petition signed by the residents of Fleetwood Road, Pequash Avenue and Stillwater Road, requesting an extension of dredging from the Main Channel in East Creek, to the canal bounded by Fleetwood Road, Pequash Avenue and Stillwater Road.
