Present were: AlvahB. Goldsmith, Chairman Philip G, Horton, Trustee George Bird, Trustee Joseph Hataier, Trustee PaulStoutenb~gh, North Fork Environmental Council Stephe~ Kaltz, L.. I. Traveler-Watchman Peter iCampbeli, Suffolk Times On motion made by Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of Bernard Turchiano to place a 5'by 20 foot floating dock off private property of the applicant at Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck. '~ Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Horton, Bird, Hataier On motion made by Mr. Hataier, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of James H. R~mb'o, Inc. to maintenance dredge to 4 feet at MLW to allow flotation of inboard pleasure boat at low tide, 100 cubic yards maximum to. be carted from site on private property.of William Horstman at Wunneweta Pond, Nassau Point. ~ Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Horton, Bird, Hataier On motion made by Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Hataier, it was RESOLVED to table the application of Charles Berner for permission to construct a dock and float on property of the applicant at Mapes Creek for more careful inspection by the Board. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Horton, Bird, Hataier On motion made by Mr. Hataier, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of Herbert A. Streicher for a mooring in front of private property of the applicant at Arshamomaque Pond. Bird, it was RESOLVED to approve the revised applicat$on of Christopher Gudis to place a catwalk, ramp and floating dock in front of private property of the~applic~$t with the understanding that the trustees will be represented at the start of theprojectin order that.minor details can be worked out before work'commences. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Horton, Bird, Hataier On motion made by Mr. H0rton~ seconded by Mr. Bird, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval of Wetlands Application #30 of Leo Stack for permission to deposit eight yards of sand from pool excavation in front of pool on creek to support bulkhead. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Horton, Bird, Hataier Onmotion made by Mr. Hataier, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval 266 of Wet~ands Application #31 o£ Eleanor Ru~h for permission to deposit approximately 1500 cubic yards of clean fill to secure five-foot elevation in an area between Middle Road and a line determined to be 100 feet from the ordinary high water mark of Arshamomaque. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Ho~ton, Bird, Hataier A certified letter return receipt requested is to be sent to Mr. Harold Simonson regarding the placAng of obstructions in Mud Creek that it is apparent that they have not complied with their agreement to remove the obstructions. Unless stepson.- are taken to comply within twenty days from receipt of this notification, they will be cited aud served with as~mmons. The matter of the floating dock placed inGoose Creek by Peter Bogovic was discussed. This matter will be ~tabled until the .next.meeting. There have been complaints about large rocks being dumped into the creek. M~. Joseph Frohnhoefer said he would speak to Mr. Bogovic about it. 'Mr."Horton'made a motion that the-minutes of the meeting of July 12, 1977 be approved as submitted. Mr. Bird seconded the motion and it was carried. 'Motion was made by Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Horton and carried to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m. The next meeting will be held October_.4, 1977.
