Traveler-Watchman Orville Terry On motion made by Mr. Robertson, seconded by M ri Bird, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of June L. HussSy to dredge an area in front of private property of the applicant at East Creek. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Herren, Bird and Hataier The applications of Henry Xarlin for a dock extension, bulk- heading and dredging were tabled. There will be a special meeting at 2:30, Saturday, November 12, 1977 at the site with the contractor, owner and a committee of the Board to work out a satisfactory arrangement for a lesser amount of worm to be done. On motion made by Mr. Herren, seconded by Mr. Hataier, it was RESOLVED retable the application of Edward C. Thomsen to · place an offshore stake with pulley line to onshore stake and four pilings on property owned by Broadwaters Cove Civic Association until a letter is received from the association approving same. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Herren, Bird and Hataier On motion made by Mr. Herren, seconded by Mr. Bird, it was RESOLVED to approve~the application of Henry Ruthinoski.to place an offshore stake with pulley line to onshore stake at Narrow River. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Herren, Bird and Hataier On motion.made by Mr. Horton, seconded by Mr. Bird, it was RESOLVED to· approve the· application of Conrad Volinski, Sr. to place an offshore stake with pulley line to onshore stake at Narrow River. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Horton,-Bird and Hataier On motion made by Mr. Hataier, seconded by Mr. Robertson, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of the Kimogenor Point· Company for maintenance dredging of canal to three feet~atMLW with the recommendation that the dredged material be deposited and spreadout on ·the beach ~on the bay side of property owned by the applicant. · Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Horton, Bird and-Hataier The aPplications of Neal A. McCarroll for a dock and maintenance'dredging were tabled for more specific informatio~ on the type of dock and a survey map of the~property. On motion made by Mr. Hataier, seconded by Mro Bird, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of Kenneth DeLoiselt and William Coleman for an erosion control bulkhead plus two six foot returns and maintenance dredging of 50 cubic yards for three feet at MLW at floats on private property of the applicant at East Creek with the recommendation that spoilbe deposited above the grass 'along the'edge of the meadow and spread on the upland. Vote of'the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Horton, Bird and Hataier . On motion made byMr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of Joanne McSherry to place a floating dock at Broadwaters Cove off private property of the applicant with the stipulation that the dock not be more than thirty-two feet in length. Vo~e of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Horton, Bird and Hataier The application Of Andrew Galgano for an extension of the 273 permit for walkway and float at. Mattituck Creek was tabled for further inspection. The application of Charles Berner for a floating dock at Mapes Creek .was tabled awaiting Mr. Berner contacting the Board. On moti6n made by Mr. Horton, seconded by Mr. Bird, it was RESOLVED to approve~ the amended application of the Suffolk County DepartMent of Public Works for maintenance dredging at the entrance to Wickhams'Creek, the dredingbeing limited to Station 25 ~ud the spoil to be deposited on the northeasterly side of the creek. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Horton, Bird and Hataier On motion made by Mr. Horton, seconded by Mr. Bird, it was RESOLVED to approve the application of the Suffolk County Department of Public Works for maintenance dredging at the entrance to Brushes Creek. Vote of the Board: and Hataier Ayes: Goldsmith, Robertson, Horton, Bird CaptainHoward Petersen appeared before the Board regarding a violation of placing pilings in Mattituck Creek without a permit from the Board of Town Trustees. Captain Petersen said he had his engineer make the applications and thought everything was in order. He showed the Board his approvals from the Dept. of Environmental Conservation and the Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Goldsmith explained to him that regardless of the other permits being approved he still needed the approval of the Town Trustees, Capt. Petersen was instructed to submit his plan and specifications to the next meeting of theB0ard. Mr. Horton made a motion, seconded by Mr. Robertson and carried to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of October 4, 1977. The next meeting of the Board of Town Trustees will be held December 6, 1977 provided there is no conflict with the Town Board.
