There was discussion on the selection of someone to fill Mr.

up until February 28, 1978 and will select someone frOm.them shortly

best qualified person. President Horton thought it was a good
suggestion and said the Boardwo. uld consider it.
.Trustee Stoutenburgh made a motion, seconded by TrUstee Harris
and carried to ~pprove the minutes of the regular meeting of
January 3~ 1978 and the special meeting of January
The next meeting of the Board of Southold Town Trustees will
be held on Tuesday, March 7, 1978. - _
The President directed the clerk to send a copy of the agenda
and the minutes' to the Bay Constable each month so he is aware of
the applicatiohs being made.
Mr. Stoutenburgh does not feel that the trusteeshave enough
guidelines to go by and requested that a committee be set up to
draw up the'guidelines so there are definite things the trustees
can fall back on. A lot of things are in people's minds but not
spelled out. Things will get more complicated as time goes by
and something more is needed than the broad statement inthe Code.
There was some discussion on aerial maps that are going to be made
availableto municipalities. Atpresent they can be purchased
through Satellite Corporation.
Motion was made by Mr. Nickles, seconded by Mr. Stoutenburgh
and carried that the meeting be adjourned.
