Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Dear Mr. Verity : I inspected the garage at the residence on Ruth Road Extension in Mattituck. The additions on the eastern and northern sides of the garage are wood framed structures with 2 x 4 inch stud walls and 2 x 6 inch roof rafters. The southeastern addition is installed on a poured concrete on grade foundation and the northern addition is installed on a concrete masonry unit foundation and a poured concrete slab on grade. Inspection found the structures to be structurally sound. It is my understanding that the additions were constructed in the 1965-66 time frame and to the best of my knowledge the additions were constructed in accordance with the building code that was in effect at that time. Also, enclosed is a Building Permit Application and Application for Certificate of Occupancy together with a check in the sum of $50.00. Please advise if any additional sum is owed.
