there are currently 22 members in the YAC, participation varies as many students

unveil an anti-bullying initiative with County Executive Bellone.

Bike Swap Initiative: Amy Maguire Burns proposed that the Youth Bureau
support an initiative enabling households to donate and/or trade bikes in good
working condition as frequently children outgrow bikes, etc. The board was in
agreement to hold the event at the Recreation Center in May for the morning.
Some details need to be worked out such as liability, etc. This would also be a
i
good venue to teach bike safety. Officer Brewer volunteered to provide training.
Greg Williams would also be a good teacher. Possibly have bike stores sponsor
the swap and fix up bikes.
