The Department of Public Works has received a request to trim behind the guardrail at the'road
end on Knollwood Lane in Mattituck (please see attached map). The Town has done this work in
the past and the vegetation at this time is in need of trimming. It is not necessary to remove any
trees or bushes. The job will only involve cutting back vegetation, trees branches and briars. The
work that needs to be done is approximately two (2) feet behind the guardrail.
