SCTM# 38-7-15 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions are CONSISTENT with the LWRP. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. The project will be located entirely landward of the spring high water line and unvegetated tidal wetlands area along the subject shoreline. The proposed protective dune structure will be reinforced internally with buried armor stone but during normal, non-storm conditions will act and serve as a vegetated, sandy dune that will provide a source of habitat and food supply for the adjacent ecosystem.
