THOMAS J. APREA requests an Amendment to Wetland Permit #8085 and Coastal Erosion Permit
#8085C to place approximately 300 feet of barrier cloth and approximately 1' in diameter rocks in front
of and on top of existing bulkhead; for the as-built cap-stones on top of existing redi-rock seawall;
seawall is 54" above wooden bulkhead to top of cap-stone; for the existing accent lighting along
seaward side of bulkhead; install aluminum stairs to beach; and for the as-built +/-2,000 cubic yards of
fill landward of seawall. Located: 500 Beach Court, East Marion. SCTM# 37-7-9.1
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of
Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards.
Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this
department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions
are CONSISTENT with the LWRP.
Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its
written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.

THOMAS J. APREA requests a Wetland Permit and a Coastal Erosion Permit to repair 42' of existing
bulkhead located on inlet to Spring Pond; and erect ready-rock sea wall along property behind existing
bulkhead to stop any more erosion of property; and replace sand behind seawall. Located: 500 Beach
Court, East Marion. SCTM# 37-7-9.1

Meeting held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the Administrative
Amendment to Wetland Permit #8085 and Coastal Erosion Permit #8085C to replace
42' of existing bulkhead located on inlet to Spring Pond; and as depicted on the revised
project plan prepared by Thomas Aprea, received on April 23, 2013 and stamped
approved on May 15, 2013.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.
