Review of Code Section 280-45(C)(F)
At the Special Meeting on October 17,,2013; the Board began a discussion of Section
280-45(C)(F) of the Town code which describes the maximum percentage of floor
area permitted for apartments in mixed use (principal) buildings in the Hamlet
Business Zone, The intent of our review is to determine if recommendations to the
Town Board designed to further promote affordable rental units in Southold Town
are warranted. Our discussion/review is ongoing.

I discussed the ZBA's 2014 Budget Proposal with the Comptroller and Town Board
on October 17, 2013
