· A special meeting of'~ihe~Board of Town Trustees was held at

7.3 p.m., Tuesday~~ December 18; 1979 at.the-Town Hall, Main Road,
Southold, New York. Present were:

Mr. Horton called this special meeting:to report' on a meeting
he had with Leander B. Glover's attorney, Richard Lark; the Fleet's
Neck Proper%y"0wners Assh. at~ornay,~ephen Angell~; and 'the Town
Attorney,"Rober~'Tasker. - ' o :'~,o 'o ,~'~ - ~ :'- ~:
Mr, Horton stated that it is the policy of the Trustees to give
public access at the ~nds of roads. Before'theCounty filled in,
there was water at .the end of East Road in (Fleet's Neck.',~ ,Mr~ Horton
feels %he Trustees have jurisdiction in this area. He would like to
see the.road:and'-at the water." H~ feels that an agreement.with all
partieslconcerned is a lot better than going to court. There are
three parties %hat areusing the same 'land, Until actual property
lines are set, it will be in limbo. Mr. Stoutenburgh stated he felt
the~filling was done ilteCally, ' -~-
Trustee Harris brought to the Boardt-s-attention ~the fact 'that
the lease ,at Narrow River has about a year and a half to r~u.
