375 A regular meeting o£ the Board of Southold Town Trustees was held at 7:15 p.m., Monday, November 5, 1979, at the Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York. Present were: President Philip G. Horton Trustee Scott Harris Trustee Anna Hataier Trustee Paul Stoutenburgh Trustee Cynthia Kaminsky Jack Ryan, Suf£olk Times Trustee Hataier made a motion, seconded by Trustee Kaminsky and carried to approve the minutes of the meeting of October 2, 1979, with the following addition. On, page 372 in the matter of the applibati0n Of Donald C. DeLalla, it is to be added that Mr. DeLalla agreed that no moorings nor Pilings would be put on the propertY~© the South. MattaMar Marina - application to dredge 6,620 cubic yards to correct shoaling conditions in slips and under floats at private property of the applicant at Mattituck Creek. Dr. Thomas Samuels represented James H. Rambo, Inc., the contractor making the application. Dorothea Delahanty, President of Mattituck Creek Watchdogs representing 67 families in that area, appeared also. Trustee Stod~enburgh expressed his opinion that 10¢ a cubic yard is an insufficient price to pay for spoil removed in dredging projects. His ~ustification for this is that the Town. Of Southold charges 75¢ a cubic yard for fill from the dump and this is loaded on the truck for you. The question was not resolved. Mrs. Delahanty spoke in opposition to the project because of continued expansion of the marina area with resultant-garbage and pollution in a residential area. On motion made by Trustee Hataier, seconded by Trustee Harris, it was RESOLVED to table the application of MattaMar Marina.,to dredge 6,620 cubic yards to correct shoaling conditions in slips and under floats at pri~ate property~ofthe ~applicant at Mattituck Creek to enabl~e the Army Co~pSs of Engineers to have time to inspect the area. Grigonis to place offshore stake off public: property at Cedar Beach Creek. Bornschein to place dock off private property of the applicant at Ea~st Creek subject to receipt of wetlands permit from the Town of Southold, if necessary. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Horton, Harris, Hataier, Stoutenburgh, Kaminsky On-motion made by Trustee Hataier; it was seconded by Trustee Harris, RESOLVED to approve the applica$ion of John Eowalski to place offshore mooring off publicly.leased property-'at Narrow River. Trustee Harris is to be contacted for placement. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Horton, Harris, Hataier, Stoutenburgh, Kaminsky On motion made by Trustee Hataier, seconded by Trustee Stoutenburgh, it. was RESOLVED to approve the application 'of RichardW. Seelig~ to construct a catwalk and floating dock off private property of the applicant at Eugene Creek with the provision that it be placed in the open area between the grass. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Horton~ Harris, Hataier, Stoutenburgh, Kaminsky 377 On motion made by Trustee Hataier, seconded by Trustee Harris, it was RESOLVED to recommendto the Southold Town Board approval of Wetland Application #42 of Arthur David for permission to place catwalk over grass area at private property of the appIi~cant at Eugene Creek. Vote of the Board: Ayes: HortOn, Harris,.Hataier, Stoutenburgh, KaminSky Mr. David is to be in£ormed that~he will also require a permit for the part of the catwalk that extends into the. creek beyond high water mark and stakes, if any. Rensselaer Terry, Jr., Esq., presented on behalf o~..Ralph Lavinia and .~a Lav~ a req~est'£or a quitclaim deed[ There is a question as' to Whether this property is'in the creek or bay. It will be forwarded to the Town Attorney, Robert Tasker, for his advice. Trustee Hataier made a motion that the following moorings be renewed pending receipt of $5 renewal fee.
