BIGGS, '1928 Bergen Street, Bellmore~ N.Y., for a Department of the Army permit to comsat a .bulkhead, a boa~ basin and to dreag~, in BROADWATERS COVE, CUTOHCGUE ~0R, CUTCHCGUE, SUF~OE~ COUNTY, NEW YORK~ A copy of the plans of the proposed work is shown on the reverse of this sheet. The applicant proposes to construct a boat basin cut into the ~pland, and bulkheaded on three sides. The basin will be approximately 30.0 feet long and 25°0 feet wide. The top of the piles forming the bulk- head is to be 4.0 feet above mean ~high water. It is also proposed to dredge an irregular ~rea adjoining the basin to a maximum depth of 3,O feet below mean low water° The d~edged material, approximately 800 cubic yards, is to be deposited on the upland and suitably retained thereon by sod dikes~ The decision as to whether or not' a permit will be issued must rest primarily upon the effect of the proposed work on navigation. ~uy criti- cisms or protests regarding the proposed 'w°rk,~ from the standpoint of navigation, sho ~uld be submitted to this off~ee to 12 April 1960, otherwise it will be presUmed that there ar C.
