The validity of this permit is or may be subject to the approval of other governmental or municipal
authorities. The Town accepts no responsibility in applying for or obtaining such approval. In the
' event that such approval is necessary, the holder of this permit shall not commence operations here-
under until such approval has been obtained in writing. The failure to obtain such other approval when
reqJired shall subject this permit to immediate revocation by the Trustees upon receipt by the
Trustees. of written notice from such other governmental or municipal authorities of its refusal or
disapproval.
The applicant does by/the acceptance of this permit, assume all responsibility for operations under-
taken pursuant to this, permit, and shall take ali.precaut OhS for the prevention of injuries to persons
and property resulting, from such operations. By such acceptance, the applicant also agrees to indemni-
fy and save harmless the Town, and its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims arising
from operations under this permit and any and all acts or omissions of applicant, his agent and
employees.
The applicant and the owner and occupants of the premises upon which the operations authorized by
mis permit are,being conducted, do, by the acceptance of this permit, give consent tothe Town, and
!ts ~officer. s _and employees to enter upon the 'premises where such operations ace being conducted to
mal<e such inspecti0ns' as: the Town may deerd necessary to insure that~uch Operations are being con-
ducted in conformity,with this permit.
This operation will not substantiallY: A. Adversely affect the wetlands Of the town.
B. Cause damage from:erosion, turbidity or siltation.
C. Cause saltwater intrusion into the fresh water resources of the town.
D. Adversely affedt fish, stieilfi~h or other beneficial marine organisms, aquatic wildlife and vege-
tation or the natural habitat thereof.
E. Increase the danger of flood and storm-tide damage.
F. Adversely affect navigation on tidal waters or.the tda f ow of the tidal waters of the town.
G. Change ti~e co~rse 0fanY Channel or'the natural movement or fi°w of any waters~
H. Weaken Qr undermine the~ lateral support of other lands in the vicinity.

This notice is issued pursuant to tke provisions of Article 8
of the Environmental Conservation Law State Environmental Quality
Review and 6NYCRR part 617, Section 617.19 and Chapter 44 of the
Code of the Town of Southold, Notice is hereby given that the
Southold Town Trustees, as lead agency for the action described
below has determined that the project will not have a significant
effect to the environment.
TYPE OF ACTION: UNLISTED
DESCRIPTION OF ACTION: Appellant proposes to reconstruct within 18"
approximately 105' of timber bulkhead and backfill with approximately
500 cu. yds. of clean sand to be trucked in from an upland source.
PROVISIONS: This Conditional Non-Significant Declaration is declared
with the provision that the Bulkhead is replaced in place, not the
18" requested.out in front.
LOCATION OF PROJECT: West Road, Cutchogue; more particularly known
as 1000-110-7-7 on the Suffolk County Tax Map.
REASONS.SUPPORTING THIS DETE~IINATION:
1. An environmental assessment form zn the long form has been
submitted which indicated that there would be no adverse effect
to the environment should the project be implemented as planned.
2. Because there has been no response in the allotted time from the
Southold Town Building Dept. and the N.Y.S.. D.E.C. it is assumed
that there are no_ objections nor comments from those agencies.

Dear Mr. Just:
The following action was taken by the Board of Trustees at
their regular meeting held on April 24, 1986 regarding Wetland
Application No~-362.
Moved by Trustee Krupski seconded by Trustee Goubeaud
WHEREAS, the Land Use Company on behalf of Gustave C. Bickert
applied to the Southold TownTrustees for a permit under the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town Of Southold, application
cated February 1'4~ 1986, and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation
Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Heari~gwas held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on April 24, 1986 at which time all interested
persons wsre given an opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with
the premises in question and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, the Board considered all testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application;r and it is noted for the record that there
has been no public opposition; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the Town,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Land Use Company on bhelaf of Gustave C. Bickert
be and hereby is granted permission to reconstruct in kind and in place
a 105' timber bulkhead and backfill said structure with approximately
500 cu. yds. of clean sand to be trucked in from an upland source.
Project is located on West Road, Cutchogue. This permit is issued with
the provision that the structure is replaced in kind and in place.

This permit will expire on April 24, 1987 ~if work has not commenced
by same. There are~two inspections required and the Trustees are
to be notified upon completion of the work.~
The following fees are due and payable. Upon remittance your
permit will be forwarded by mail.
$5.00 Wetland Inspection fee is now due and payable.
