Dear Mr. Costello:
The following act2on was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
its regular meeting held on November 20, 1992 regarding the above
matter:
WHEREAS, Costello Marine Contracting Corp. on behalf of Joseph
Beradino applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under
the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold~
~lication dated October 7, 1992 and,
said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recon~uendations~
and~
WHEREAS~ a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
EREASo said appii~ation on November 20, 1992 at which time all interested
rsons were given an'opportunity to be heard, and~
, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar
with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
W~IEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and,
~EREAS, th~ Board has determined that the project as proposed will
~'not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the to~l.
· NOW~ THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees approves the
application of Costeilo Marine Corp. on behalf of James Beradino
to install approx. 107' of rock revetment with (2) 15' returns,
backfill void area with 32 yards of fill and vegetate with Rosa
RUgosa and beach grass.
This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed, Fees
~ust be paid~ i~!icabte~ and permit issued within six months
~f. the date of this. notification. Two inspections are required and
i~the Trustees are to be notified upon completion 6f said project.

RESOLVED that pursuant to Article 8 of the Envirommental Conservation
Law, State Environmental Quality Review and 6NYCRR Part 617,
Section 617.10 and Chapter 44 of the Code of the Town of Southold,
~'tice is hereby given that the Southold Town Trustees, as Lead
Agency for the action described below, has determined that the
project will not have a significant effect on the enviromment.
Please take further notice that this declaration should not be
considered a determination made for any other department or agency
which may also have an application pending for the same or similar
project.
A planting survey shall be submitted prior to final approval, if
applicable.

Wetland Application of Angela Radovic 70-20-28.2 to construct a 134'
timber bulkhead with 1~' returns at property line.
The CAC recommends disapproval because the proje~ is not needed and
wetlands would be destroyed. Also there is a violation of the State and -
Town codes, applicant has mowed the lawn to the water's edge.

of fill and vegetate with rugosa rose and Beach grass.
The CAC recommends disapproval because it disagrees with the concept
of armoring and because the Trustees have no po]ic~/ for structures along
