Dear Mr. Bertani:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of
Trustees on Thursday, May 26, 1994;
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Trustees grants a
waiver-to construct a 16' X 22' addition to home with concrete
steps to basement and a pervious stone walkway around addition.
Located 910 Maple Lane, Southold.

Moved by Allan Conneil. seconded by Stephen Angell. it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold ToWn Board of the Waiver
Request of-! ), 35-5-26 concerning the revised a previous
request, put ~n a and will instead put' in a concrete walkway around the
addition to obtain easier access to the new concrete basement steps.
The CAC recommends denial because there should be no concrete. The Council
recommends and would approve any surface [brick, gravel, bluestone, etc. ) that would
allow water to percolate into the ground.

Moved by Allan Connell, seconded by Stephen Angell, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to ~the Southold Town Board of Trustees ~1~.~J_~--C of the Waiver
Request of ~/d~lJ-~E~ff~/x~:8-2-1 to construct a 6' high vinyl fence along western
property tine a minimum of 55' long. Fence would extend onto the beach to prevent
pedestrian traffic and keep deer from cutting through property and eroding beach.
Denial was recommended because no need is demonstrated for the proposed action.
The installation of a fence could create an erosion problem.

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL of the
Waiver Request of PIERRE GAZARIAN 26-2-~7 to build a fence with gate at stairs on
top of the bulkhead.

Gentlemen:
In our letter to you dated March 4, 1994, we requested
a from you for a proposed 16 x 22 addition to
the home of Cindy Benedetto which would be in the same
place as an existing deck and also a concrete patio and
new set of concrete steps to her basement.
Mrs. Benedetto has decided that she wi~l~ot-~be putting
in~a~patiO and will i~ns~ead be putting a ~ooncrete-wa~tkway
around, the addition, to obtain easier access to the new
concrete basement steps. (see survey)
Please advise if this will help in obtaining a waiver.

steps. The board feels a full permit is in order for this

Gentlemen:
We are acting on behalf of Cindy Benedetto in obtaining
permits and variances in the matter of a proposed addition
to her home in East Marion.
M~s. Benedetto is proposing to build a 16x22 addition to her
home on the Dawn Lagoon side which will be in the same place
as an existing deck. She will also be putting in a concrete
patio and a new set of concrete steps down to her basement.
WE have filed for a letter of .~m~.~ ~---~~' from the NYS
DEC and have also filed for a variance for insufficient set
back from the Board of Appeals since the addition and patio
will be less than 75' back from existing bulkhead.
Please advise us as to whether she will have to obtain a
Trustee permit of if this is out of your jurisdiction.
We are enclosing a check for $40.00 for the non-jurisdiction
letter. If additional is due, please let us know.
