Re: Rear Deck Structure-22040 Main Rd., Orient,NY (Rose/Channing owners)- Supplement for Drawing This deck structure was constructed and attached to the existing house in 1978. I inspected the structure in Aug. 2013, and observed that proper practices were used in the construction of the structure. I observed the tops of the concrete foundations. After corresponding with the builder, I verified the concrete foundations(10"diameter) were installed to a depth 3 feet below grade.
