Located: 15 Fourth Street, New Suffolk. SCTM# 117-10-15 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the LWRP provided that the Board: 7. Require that the backfilled area is planted with native vegetation to help stabilize the area. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. A proposed action will be evaluated as to its si nig ficant beneficial and adverse effects upon the coastal area (which includes all of Southold Town). If any question in Section C on this form is answered "yes" or "no", then the proposed action will affect the achievement of the LWRP policy standards and conditions contained in the consistency review law. Thus each answer must be explained in detail, listing both supporting and non- supporting facts. If an action cannot be certified as consistent with the LWRP policy standards and conditions, it shall not be undertaken. Not Applicable The proposed return will extend landward of the existing vinyl bulkhead on the subject property and will be located landward of the existing concrete rubble located on the adjacent Town road end. The return will serve the primary purpose of stabilizing and protecting from flooding and erosion the portion of the subject property located adjacent to the easterly property line, where the concrete seawall/rubble located on the Town road end is collapsing and unmaintained. Therefore, with respect to the adjacent beach, adjacent properties, natural resources, and erosion rates, the project will not cause any significant change to existing conditions or impacts thereupon.
