1. Meeting started at 4:30pm.
2. Those in attendance Elby Burr Chair, Peter Rugg, Chippy duPont, Steve Malinowski, Harris
Parsons, Louisa Evans. By phone, Margie Purnell, Leslie Goss, Mike Posey, Frank
Bohlen.
3. Minutes from the May 25th meeting were approved with one correction.
4. The Yacht Club dredging project was reduced in size to only include the Sea Stretcher and
surrounding area. NY State has approved the work the club is awaiting CT approval. The
project is on hold awaiting permits for dumpsite.
5. Mooring report for the summer is as follows 80 paid moorings for a total of $9,586.
Delinquent fees owed FIYC are in the mail.
6. Bay constable report was given by Matt Skinner. All in all things were very quiet. The town
never issued uniforms.
7. Pump-out service went well in July with our approved operator Matt Skinner. July was busy,
but August was very slow, until the boat broke the second week of August. We need to find
another Pump-out boat operator and Bay Constable.
8. Commuter boat Popeye requested again this year the use of the town dock for 2013.
Popeye would like to move the single piling to tie up the stern of the boat. Popeye would
cover the cost. Discussion ensued. Approved renewing permit for Popeye to use the dock
with the existing boat.
9. The safe boating course was not held due to conflicts with the selected dates.
10. The Yacht Club is in preliminary stages of developing a floating dock for the 420's / Jr.
Sailing program. It is to be self contained, on a float and able to launch 6 from each side.
Discussion ensued.
11. Chippy duPont reported on the current success of the new helix screw type mooring. There
are 5 moorings that need to be replaced (mushroom type) due to bad eyes. PCM is also
recommending that the Harbor Committee go to an annual inspection. Discussion ensued.
12. Nothing new to report from the town.

Dear Marj:
In response to the request in the April Fog Horn, Pirate's Cove Marine,
Inc. is pleased to bid on the repair and placement of Channel Markers in both
West Harbor and Hay Harbor for the 2013 Season. We would prep and place
approximately 25 buoys at the start of the season before 25 May 2013 and
remove and store all equipment by 15 October 2013 for a cost of three thousand
dollars 3,000.00).
Pirate's Cove Marine, Inc. would retrieve, repair and put back into place
any floats that break loose during the season at a rate of eighty-five dollars
($85.00) per marker, plus the cost of any necessary materials.
